15 Countries Where You Can Experience The Best Weather Year-Round

Spain

Spain is a large country with a diverse climate, with many places such as Madrid and Seville very hot in summer and the  Cuenca region facing cold winters.. But, regions like the Canary Islands and Andalusia offer mild temperatures year-round. The Canary Islands enjoy a tropical climate with little variation in temperature, although November to January are cooler. With such good weather, there’s plenty of activities to keep you busy throughout the year, unlike some countries that effectively close down over winter. 

Portugal

While not as hot as Spain, Portugal’s Algarve region enjoys favorable climates for the majority of the year.  With over 300 days of sunshine, mild winters and glorious summers, Portugal is a popular retirement destination for expats. Portugal is also the perfect spot for people who love outdoor activities all year round, with dozens of golf courses, padel courts and much more.

Australia’s diverse geography means varied climates, but places like Sydney and Perth offer some of the best weather. Much of the country enjoys warm summers and mild winters as temperatures are moderate throughout the year. 

New Zealand

The Central Valley, including cities like San José, offers a particularly pleasant climate with cooler temperatures than the coastal areas.
