The U.S. job market is constantly evolving, and some cities like Los Angeles and Springfield are struggling to grow while others are thriving. We take a look at 15 cities that have demonstrated strong job market growth in recent years:

Austin, Texas

Over the past decade, Austin’s metro area has experienced an employment boom with an  49.9% increase. This figure is the highest in the States, largely down to the vibrant tech scene with Dell Inc the largest employer. The healthcare industry is also prominent in the area with many companies focused on seeking local employees and paying a living wage. 

Seattle, Washington

Seattle is very desirable for young professionals looking to kickstart their careers. The city’s  economy offers opportunities in the high-paying tech, information and communication sectors. The city  is home to tech giants like Amazon and Microsoft with tech jobs set to boom in the future with the advancement of AI.

Denver, Colorado
